Description/Notes:
Position is for 2026-2027 school year. July 1, 2026 start date, with option for earlier start, as needed. Serve as chief administrator for middle school campus, grades 5-8, with approximately 35 staff members. Provide positive leadership by investing in the professional growth of self and staff members. Provide a clear vision of continuous improvement. Understanding of current legislation as it pertains to the instructional program. Lead the recruitment, hiring, and placement of assigned staff. Demonstrate knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies. Analyze data to identify critical priorities for campus. Plan for and ensure student supervision and campus safety.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree in educational administration; Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate; Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser - Preferred or able to obtain Additional qualifications include:
  • Excellentmunication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate data driven decision-making to ensure the success of instructional programs
  • Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
  • Ability to manage budgets
  • Ability to coordinate campus functions
Salary Range:
Based on Alpine ISD Salary Schedules, with supplements dependent upon credentials and experience. Range of $69,000 - $101,000. Will be eligible for Alpine ISD employee benefits. 5 Local Sick Leave Days per Year 5 State Personal Leave Days per Year District pays $300 per month towards Health Insurance for each employee $10,000 Life Insurance Policy TRS Retirement
