The Assistant Director will collaborate closely with senior leadership to implement educational programs, oversee administrative functions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Duties Assist in developing and refining curriculum plans that promote innovative teaching and learning strategies aligned with educational standards. Lead efforts in fundraising initiatives to support school programs, facilities, and student activities, ensuring sustainable financial growth. Contribute to strategic planning processes by analyzing data, setting goals, and implementing action plans to enhance school performance. Manage budgets effectively by overseeing financial allocations, tracking expenditures, and ensuring fiscal responsibility across departments. Supervise school staff including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff through coaching, evaluation, and professional development facilitation. Ensure compliance with all educational laws, regulations, and policies including special education law and childhood development standards. Support instructional leadership by mentoring faculty, evaluating teaching effectiveness, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee school administrative functions such as scheduling, student records management, and operational logistics. Facilitate communication with stakeholders through public speaking engagements, community outreach, and parent engagement initiatives. Maintain a thorough understanding of legal requirements related to school operations and personnel management in education. Skills Extensive experience in curriculum development and instructional leadership within K-12 or early childhood education settings. Proven success in fundraising efforts and strategic planning within educational institutions. Strong management skills with experience supervising diverse teams of educators and staff. Deep knowledge of school legal frameworks including special education law and educational compliance regulations. Expertise in managing budgets as an executive education administrator while maintaining fiscal accountability. Skilled in faculty evaluation processes and facilitating professional development workshops for educators. Excellent public speaking abilities coupled with effective communication skills for engaging students, staff, families, and community partners. Demonstrated classroom experience with a solid understanding of childhood development principles. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement across school operations. Familiarity with personnel management practices specific to education administration including hiring, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.
