The Role We're looking for an Assistant Principal who is student-focused, organized, and ready to jump in wherever needed. This role supports campus leadership in academics, operations, and school culture, with a strong emphasis on instructional support and student success—especially in preparation for STAAR. What You'll Do Support the principal in day-to-day campus operations Help lead instruction aligned to TEKS and STAAR expectations Analyze student data and support teachers with data-driven instruction Conduct classroom walkthroughs and provide actionable feedback Assist with discipline and attendance help maintain a positive school culture Support teacher coaching, growth, and professional development Coordinate testing (including STAAR) and campus compliance requirements Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families Help ensure a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment What We're Looking For Master's degree in Educational Leadership or related field (or in process) Valid Texas Principal or Assistant Principal Certification (or in progress) Experience in elementary education (3-5 preferred) Strong understanding of TEKS, STAAR, and instructional best practices Experience with data analysis and instructional coaching Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities Leadership Qualities We Value Have experience improving student outcomes on STAAR Are skilled in building strong relationship with staff and students and stakeholders Bring a calm, solutions-focused approach to challenges Enjoy being visible, involved, and hands-on around campus Why Bradford Elementary?
