Qualifications:

Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field Educational Diagnostician Certification through TEA Monolingual - English Strong knowledge of special education laws and assessment practices Must have 2+ years recent experience as a Diagnostician in Texas Public Schools Previous experience working in an elementary setting, evaluations, report writing, and ARD meetings required

Contract Details:

Full Time | School Hours Conduct ARDs and evaluations

Hybrid:

3 days in-person and 2 days remote 8 hours/day and 40 hours/week

Pay:

$47-50 an hour plus a $3,000 Assignment Bonus

What You'll Be Doing:

Administer, score, and interpret formal and informal assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services according to state and federal regulations. Receive student referrals and implement the appraisal process Take part in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to help interpret assessment data, determine appropriate student placement, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with district procedures. Collaborate and consult with the interdisciplinary education team, parents/guardians, and community agencies as needed.
