Job Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develops and maintains positive, professional, working relationship with staff. Takes an active role in planning and participating in academy activities (staff meetings, training sessions, open houses, and family/school-wide events) Managing and maintaining reports and logs. Accepts all work assignments in the event regularly scheduled personnel are not available. Assists in daily supervision of staff; keeps director apprised with staff concerns and situations needing attention. Complete and submit required paperwork and record-keeping on a timely basis, and maintaining an organized, up-to-date manner. Develops and actively maintains positive communication with parents and children. Assists with new hire on-boarding, including offering new staff orientation and training. Ordering paper, office, and classroom supplies, including putting together supplies for classrooms. Monitoring all topical ointments and permission slips to ensure they meet state and company requirements. Organizing permission slips for field trips. Reviewing all children's daily reports for accuracy, including dietary restrictions and daily pictures. Pass out supplies and deliveries, keeping a record of what is ordered and what was delivered. Answering phones and email in a timely manner while offering the most up-to date information. Recognizes parent concerns and reports them to the director. Assists with enrollment inquiries, follow-up, and facility tours in order to increase enrollment. Transport children on the school bus as needed. Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks and financial record keeping. Qualifications Proven experience as a Daycare Administrator in a child care facility is required Strong proficiency in office management software, including Microsoft Office Suite and Canva Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Management are a plus.
