Immediately Job Description Spearman ISD is accepting applications for a High School Principal for the 2026-2027 school year who is an enthusiastic team player with a dynamic approach to helping faculty, staff and especially students to maintain and achieve high levels of academic and social excellence. Our new instructional leader needs to be a great communicator, open to new ideas, have the ability to implement and evaluate campus initiatives, and understand the immediate and future instructional and academic values of technology by encouraging and implementing its use by administrators, teachers and students. The candidate must be able to exhibit and show evidence in their ability in directing and managing the instructional programs and supervise operations and personnel at the campus level. The candidate must provide leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service and personal integrity. The candidate must be able to provide evidence of creating and leading functional and purposeful instructional teams and professional learning communities that include all stakeholders. The candidate must understand the integral part that extra-curricular activities plays into a student's educational experience and foster a climate that encourages and enhances the many programs offered at Spearman High School.
Campus Description:
Spearman is a class 2AA school district with approximately 180 students on the High School campus. There are 28 staff members at this campus.

July 1, 2026 (12 month Contract)
Benefits:
District pays $466 towards employee health insurance; 5 local personal days; 5 State personal days
Salary:
Salary is negotiable based on experience
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Master's degree in Educational Administration Texas Principal or other appropriate Texas certificate TTESS Appraiser
Experience:
Minimum of Three years successful experience as a classroom teacher Minimum of Three years successful experience as a campus principal or assistant principal, preferred
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Knowledge and vision of student and staff use of 21st Century Technology skills Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to coordinate campus functions Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret date Strong organizational, communication, public relations & interpersonal skills Ability to relate and engage all stakeholders
