ABOUT A Student Assistant (SA) at TJC plays an important role in promoting the mission of the department/office and college. The SA is required to perform various clerical tasks that help maintain an organized workflow for the department/office.
•Student Assistant positions are subject to a maximum of 18 hours per week.
WHAT YOU WILL DO ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS and DUTIES Perform office duties such as filing, copying, and ordering supplies for the department. Assist with the collection and initial review of faculty rosters for field completion. Provide support to the SACSCOC processes, including documentation collection, dissemination, and tracking. Complete special projects as assigned by the Director to improve policies, forms, or processes.

No If travel is required, the candidate must have and maintain a current, valid Texas driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
WHO YOU ARE QUALIFICATIONS
At least 15 college credits completed. Students must be registered for undergraduate classes and maintain enrollment status to work in these positions. Students may qualify for Federal Work Study, which will be determined by the Office of Financial Aid. Additional Job-Specific Requirements Students are allowed to work a maximum of eighteen (18) hours per week and cannot work in multiple hourly positions. A work week is Monday-Sunday.
