Jul 1, 2026 Job Description The Windham Southwest Supervisory Union is seeking a dynamic and passionate person to serve as the Student Services Coordinator. The Student Services Coordinator will be responsible for the compliance of special education processes and programs to meet the varying learning needs of the students. The WSWSU has an experienced central office to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate and manage the pre-referral, referral, evaluation and placement process for special education students.
  • Serve as the TEAM Chair for initial referrals, three-year reevaluation meetings, and out-of-district meetings and other TEAM meetings.
  • Provide information to faculty and staff regarding changes in regulations, mandates, processes and procedures to ensure currency with special regulations and policies.
  • Consult to faculty, related service providers and parents on issues relating to special education.
  • Monitor compliance with special education regulations.
  • Assist teachers with the modification of instructional programs and assessments.
  • Support the Principals with modifications to and administration of standardized tests for students with special needs..
  • Consult with MTSS Teams as necessary.
  • Support child find activities.
