QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Master's Degree 2. Passion for working collaboratively with students, staff, and families. 3. Strong relationship-building and communication skills supporting a team approach to education. 4. Able to apply different leadership styles to different problems as appropriate. 5. Eagerness to approach problems from new and different perspectives. 6. Strong organizational skills. 7. Knowledge of current practices relating to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. 8. Understanding of law and policy relating to student issues, including discipline. 9. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. 10. Comfort in high visibility positions. 11. The growth mindset focused on constructive interactions. 12. Familiarity with alternative curriculum delivery methods, especially online. 13. Desire to work with at-risk students and families.

JOB GOAL
The Director will administer, supervise and manage the school, the staff and the educational program of an alternative campus serving students in grades 8-12 in accordance with the adopted policies of the Menominee Area Public School District.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To serve as the supervisor of instruction and of the staff of the building. 2. To have overall supervision of students. 3. To meet the individual educational needs of students as they acquire credits towards graduation, including the development and implementation of instructional programs. 4. To administer the established policies of the school system as they relate to the campus, its personnel and its work. 5. To work with parents in every practical way in the joint educational enterprise of home and school. 6. To administer and manage equipment, staff and students by schedules, building policies and adopted procedures that are smooth in their operation and effective in their functions. 7. To assist in the determination of staff assignments. 8. To maintain all records required by the Board of Education, the Superintendent of Schools and the Department of Education. 9. To constructively evaluate staff. 10. To assist in planning and budgeting for future campus educational plans, facilities, and equipment; to manage the campus budget which is established for the year's operation. 11. To promote good public relations with the community in general by promoting mutual understanding through close and friendly working relationships. 12. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the superintendent.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Terms of contract to be negotiated (based on qualifications and experience).
EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of professional staff.
