Job Description

Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine School District Employment Opportunity Administrative Assistant-Principal's Office The Beecher-Dunbar-Pembine School District is seeking a motivated, organized, and professional individual to serve as the Principal's Administrative Assistant. This position plays an essential role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the school office while maintaining positive relationships with students, families, staff, and the community. The successful candidate will provide confidential administrative support to the Principal, assist with student records, coordinate office operations, and contribute to a welcoming and efficient school environment. Essential Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, and responding to questions from students, staff, and families. Prepare correspondence, reports, notices, mailings, and other documents as needed. Assist with student attendance, transportation messages, office announcements, and daily school operations. Work collaboratively with administration, teachers, support staff, students, and families. Qualifications High school diploma required; additional education or administrative training preferred. Previous secretarial or administrative assistant experience preferred. Strong organizational skills and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality, strong interpersonal skills, with a positive and professional attitude. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as a member of a team.
