The College Success Program is part of the federally funded TRIO Programs that work to help CSP participants develop as individuals, citizens, and leaders as they successfully obtain their educational goals. The mission of CSP is to retain Northern Wyoming Community College District program participants until they complete their degree, certificate, or transfer to a 4-year institution, and to foster an institutional climate supportive of student success. The program provides the upmost standard of services focusing on four different areas: Academic, Career, Financial, and Personal/Social assistance. Program participants are students who are underrepresented in college or in need of supportive services. The Peer Leader will work with other Peer Leaders to complete assigned tasks. Reports To Senior Retention Mentor Education/Qualifications Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college Sheridan College Student currently enrolled Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to connect with non-traditional/at-risk students in a positive and professional manner Great communication and time management skills Creativity and networking skills Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Outlook Clear understanding of FERPA and student confidentiality Preference is given to
