An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Aug 3, 2026 Job Description th Grade Elementary Teacher Two Rivers Elementary School•Two Rivers School District Two Rivers Elementary is seeking a passionate and student-centered 4th Grade Teacher to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will create an engaging, supportive classroom where students are challenged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally while building a love of learning. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong instructional practices, effective classroom management, and a commitment to meeting the needs of all learners through collaboration, data-driven instruction, and positive relationships with students and families. Experience with the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process is preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
Valid Arkansas teaching license with appropriate elementary certification Strong knowledge of Arkansas Academic Standards Excellent communication and collaboration skills Commitment to continuous professional growth and student success At Two Rivers Elementary, we believe every child can succeed, and we are looking for educators who are committed to making a positive impact every day.
