An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

Job Summary:
The kindergarten teacher is responsible for teaching a class of 6 students. First and foremost, we are looking for Christians who love the Lord and love kids. Teachers should be able to manage a classroom, communicate and teach all subjects clearly and effectively, and follow school procedures. Minimum Requirements Be a born-again Christian who agrees with our statement of faith. Have (or obtain upon employment) an IVP fingerprint clearance card. Pass the background check with no flags. Adhere to all behavioral, lifestyle, and job expectations as laid out in the staff handbook. Have (or obtain upon employment) CPR/First Aid certification. Minimum Education Requirements A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
Compensation:
$42-45/hr
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. 144 days per year
