In this role, you will inspire young learners, create engaging lesson plans, and foster a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes academic achievement and character development. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with state standards. Create an engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and critical thinking. Use diverse instructional strategies including technology integration, hands-on activities, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of all learners. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations. Manage classroom behavior with effective behavior management techniques to ensure a safe and respectful learning space. Teach Like a Champion experience preferred Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to support students' individual learning plans, including those with special education needs Incorporate effective education principles and early intervention strategies to support developmental milestones. Engage daily small group RTI centers to provide enrichment and intervention. Ability to collect and use data to make decisions on next steps for each student Skills Proven experience in classroom management within an elementary setting. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Expertise in lesson planning across multiple subjects with a focus on literacy education, writing instruction, and math fundamentals. Proficiency in the use of various learning technology tools to enhance instruction and student engagement. Familiarity with special education practices and child study team referral Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners using differentiated instruction techniques.
