We are seeking a full-time 4th and 5th Grade Combination Teacher to join our team. The teacher will provide a developmentally appropriate educational program that supports students' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator or recent graduate to make a meaningful impact by fostering a positive learning environment, delivering engaging instruction, and helping students build the skills necessary for continued academic success. Our Lady of Victory is part of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Department of Catholic Schools' Solidarity Schools Initiative, Cohort 1. This initiative has demonstrated success in improving student performance in mathematics and reading. The selected candidate will receive training and instructional coaching to implement the following program components with fidelity: Success for All is a comprehensive reading program for grades K-5 that will be extended to middle school this year. It develops foundational reading and comprehension skills, supports students' social-emotional well-being, and uses cooperative learning strategies to increase engagement. Illustrative Mathematics is a problem-based math curriculum for grades K-8 designed to foster student engagement, critical thinking, and real-world application.
