Full-Time | Monday-Friday Belltower Montessori Academy is seeking a warm, energetic, and dedicated Montessori Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher to join our team! We are looking for an educator who is passionate about supporting children during these important early years and creating a peaceful, nurturing classroom where each child can develop independence, confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. The ideal candidate has experience working with infants and/or toddlers, understands early childhood development, and is committed to providing responsive, individualized care within a Montessori environment. Position Overview As the Lead Pre-Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a Montessori learning environment that supports each child's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. You will guide children through purposeful work while fostering independence, curiosity, and a love of learning. This position offers the opportunity to lead a classroom while working alongside a collaborative and supportive teaching team. Responsibilities Lead an Infant or Toddler Montessori classroom Maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing environment Plan developmentally appropriate Montessori activities and lessons Support each child's individual development and needs Observe and document children's progress Communicate professionally with families Collaborate with classroom staff and administration Maintain compliance with Title 22 regulations Qualifications Minimum 12 ECE units, including Infant/Toddler required (Licensing requirement) Infant and/or Toddler classroom experience preferred Strong understanding of early childhood development Patient, dependable, caring, and professional Livescan clearance and health screening (including TB test) required Montessori experience is strongly preferred. Candidates who are Montessori trained, currently enrolled in Montessori training, or interested in pursuing Montessori certification are strongly encouraged to apply. Montessori training sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.Compensation:
$23.25 - $24.75 per hour, depending on qualifications, Montessori certification, and experience.
