You will be managing our Toddler class, Age range 2yrs to 3.5 yrs. Our program is based on individualized care to ensure all of our students learn at their own pace. We prefer candidates with a background in early childhood developmental education and extensive experience working with young children. Montessori Teacher Duties and Responsibilities Establish and maintain a classroom true to the Montessori philosophy, paying particular attention to the needs of students. Implement and update curriculum as student needs dictate. Plan, prepare, and maintain all units of study - including Montessori materials, thematic units, library books, etc. Be a mentor to the assistant teachers. Montessori Teacher Requirements and Qualifications 12 Early Childhood Education Credits, or 6 Early Childhood Educations 1+ years of experience working with young children Excellent verbal and written communication skills Patient and compassionate to young children's needs and emotions
