What they do
An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description
Potential Work Schedul Saturdays:
9:00 AM- 12:00 PM or 1:00 PM
- 5:30 PM Weekday afternoons: 4:00
- 6:15 School break camps (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring, Summer): Mondays to Fridays, 9:00
- 11:30 and/or 12:30
- 3:00 Flexible hours, with part-time opportunities ranging from 2 to 12 hours/week during the school year and up to 30 hours/week during school break camps.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, Law, English, Education, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of one year of experience in teaching, coaching, or tutoring Public Speaking or Debate Excellent communication skills with a passion for helping students develop self-confidence and communication abilities.
