Job Summary Job Summary Under the direction of the Director of Elementary Education, VAPA Coordinator, and site principals, the Elementary Arts Integration Wheel Itinerant Teacher plans and delivers arts-integrated lessons to all students at the elementary and TK-8 schools. A team of Arts Integration Wheel Itinerant Teachers will travel to a set of elementary sites each quarter to provide full or part-day (as designed by administration) release time for grade-level teachers while providing the students in the classroom exposure to various forms of arts instruction. In collaboration with the VAPA Coordinator, general education teachers, and the other Arts Integration Itinerant Wheel Teachers, lesson plans for each grade level will be developed in the areas of dance, media arts, theatre, and various types of visual arts including photography, craft arts, computer coding, and graphic design.
