• 45 per hour, depending on experience and course level About the Position Golden Sunshine Academy is seeking an experienced and engaging Part-Time Math Teacher to teach students from elementary through middle school at our Irvine location.

We are looking for teachers who can build strong mathematical foundations, develop students' problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and support students at different academic levels—from elementary math through advanced middle school mathematics and competition preparation. Current or former teachers with experience in Irvine or Orange County public/private schools are strongly preferred. Responsibilities Teach small-group and/or 1-on-1 math classes Provide instruction based on the teacher's area of expertise, including: Elementary Math (Grades 1-6) Advanced / GATE Elementary Math Middle School Math Pre-Algebra Algebra I & II Geometry Precalculus Calculus SAT Math

preparation Strengthen students' number sense, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills Support students with school coursework, tests, and advanced academic preparation Differentiate instruction based on students' grade levels and abilities Prepare structured and engaging lessons Identify students' strengths and areas for improvement Provide feedback on student progress Communicate with Academy staff regarding student learning and instructional needs Maintain a positive, professional, and academically rigorous classroom environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, or a related field Strong mathematics knowledge Previous experience teaching or tutoring elementary, middle school students Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and patiently Strong communication and classroom management skills Responsible, reliable, and punctual Able to teach in person at our Irvine location Strongly Preferred Current or former teacher at an Orange County public or private school Familiarity with Irvine / Orange County school curricula and academic expectations California teaching credential Experience teaching GATE or advanced elementary students Experience teaching Honors or advanced mathematics SAT Math teaching experience

10 or other math competition experience Experience working with academically advanced students Teachers do not need to teach all grade levels or subjects. Candidates with strong expertise in elementary, middle school, SAT, or competition math are encouraged to apply. Schedule Part-Time | In Person Classes are primarily scheduled during: Weekday afternoons/evenings Saturdays and Sundays Exact schedules will depend on teacher availability and student enrollment. Compensation $30
