The teacher respects Catholic values and aids students in Christian formation by exemplifying Catholic living, both in and out of the classroom. The teacher conducts himself in a professional manner at all times exhibited by his/her behavior, speech, and dress. The teacher is accountable to the principal and expected to provide education to the grades and/or subjects assigned, to implement the school mission and philosophy, to follow the policies of the Diocese of Santa Rosa, those of the St. Vincent Elementary staff and parent supplemental handbooks, and adhere to the directives set by school administration. Teacher is required to plan and teach an academically rigorous curriculum aligned with state, diocesan, and federal standards with appropriate pedagogy, meeting the needs of all students and using assessments to guide their instruction. The teacher has solid classroom management protocol and techniques to ensure students are learning. The teacher can communicate effectively and consistently with parents. The teacher is organized and efficient. This position is temporary and eligible for CA statutory benefits only. This is a 40% pro-rated, exempt contracted temporary position.
