Fountainhead has been dedicated to the education of children in an environment designed to stimulate and develop the child's love of learning since 1972. We are currently looking to fill a position on our Livermore Campus. The position is full time 8:30-5:00 working with children ages2-3. Previous Montessori experience and a Montessori Credential is preferred. Montessori credential and experience garners a higher rate of pay. We are seeking a nurturing and experienced Teacher to assist or co-teach in our 2's classroom. The ideal candidate holds a Montessori credential (AMI or AMS), along with relevant early childhood education experience. This role involves preparing and maintaining a safe, orderly, and beautiful Montessori environment that supports each child's natural drive toward independence, movement, and language development. The teacher will observe each child closely, offer individualized lessons using Montessori materials, and thoughtfully adapt the environment to meet emerging developmental needs. Responsibilities include supporting toileting independence, practical life skills, sensory exploration, and early language acquisition through consistent, gentle guidance. Above all, we're looking for someone patient, warm, and deeply respectful of each toddler's individual pace, personality, and emerging sense of self.
