An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

What You'll Do:
Deliver KinderCare's curriculum while adapting to each child's individual needs and learning style Maintain a secure, caring, and stimulating environment where children feel supported and valued Establish strong partnerships with parents to ensure the highest quality care and educational experience Work closely with center staff and leadership to help meet goals related to enrollment, accreditation, and overall program engagement Build and maintain positive relationships with families, school staff, licensing agencies, community partners, and corporate stakeholders
What We're Looking For:
Excellent customer service and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities effectively Previous experience (at least one year preferred) working with preschool or school-age children Ability to meet school district employment requirements, or willingness to obtain necessary qualifications CPR and First Aid certification, or readiness to complete certification Physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds and work in both indoor and outdoor settings Ability to sit, bend, kneel, and maintain close visual and physical supervision of children Sufficient vision and hearing to ensure a safe environment Comfortable participating in active play and physical activities with children Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English to communicate effectively with children and families Be part of a team that's shaping confident learners, supporting working families, and creating brighter futures every day.
