Acorn to Oak is a vibrant daycare and preschool in Sacramento, known for our award-winning blend of nature based exploration and play based learning. Drawing inspiration from Waldorf, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia approaches, we provide high-quality child care in a warm, supportive, and community focused setting for infants through preschoolers. We are currently hiring full-time teachers who support our daycare and preschool classrooms! We believe child care should be joyful, creative, and rooted in real-world exploration. Team Required:
12+ Early Childhood Education units (must include Infant/Toddler, Child Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum) At least 6 months of experience in a licensed child care or daycare setting Criminal Record Clearance & Mandated Reporter Certificate Current health screening, TB clearance, and immunizations (MMR, Tdap, Flu, COVID) Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs, kneel, bend, and actively play with children throughout the day
Preferred:
