Our classroom offers a warm, supportive environment with an excellent 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio .
Schedule:
Full-time/Part-time, approximately 8:00 AM-1:00 PM. Exact hours can be discussed.
Pay:
$23-$30 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications:
AMI- or AMS-trained, or previous teaching experience in a Montessori school Minimum of 12 completed Early Childhood Education (ECE) units Must complete fingerprinting and pass the required background clearance Patient, nurturing, reliable, and comfortable working with young children Good communication and classroom-management skills Duties Develop and implement Montessori-based lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and individual student needs Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to track student progress, record assessments, and communicate with parents and staff Design classroom activities that promote literacy, math skills, physical education, and social development in young children Conduct ongoing student assessment through observation, formative assessments, and data analysis to inform instruction Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management strategies consistent with Montessori philosophy Apply knowledge of childhood development, early childhood education principles, and regulations to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment Experience Prior experience teaching in early childhood or preschool settings with a strong background in Montessori methods Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design tailored for young children Knowledge of classroom management techniques, conflict resolution, and behavior management strategies suitable for early learners Background in teaching math, literacy education, physical education, or library services within private or preschool environments Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists effectively Interested candidates may apply through Indeed or email their resume to
