4th Grade Teacher 2026-2027 School Year, starts immediately SOAR's collective responsibility is to offer a holistic approach to education that implements rigorous academic instruction in conjunction with an active classroom. Our model challenges students to think critically and take active roles in their classrooms and communities. Our school gives students the academic and character-building skills they need as learners and leaders.

Students deepen comprehension, strengthen writing, tackle multi-step problem-solving, and participate in statewide assessments . We are seeking a skilled, reflective, and driven 4th Grade Teacher who embraces academic rigor, understands the importance of assessment literacy, and intentionally supports students' growing independence and social development within a diverse learning community. About Our Community Our school is a vibrant, inclusive environment where: Diversity is celebrated and centered Relationships come first Families are true partners Social-emotional learning and academics go hand in hand Educators collaborate, grow, and support one another What You'll Do As a 4th Grade Teacher, you will: Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in literacy, math, science, and social studies Strengthen reading comprehension, vocabulary, and written responses to increasingly complex texts Develop mathematical fluency and conceptual understanding through problem-solving, reasoning, and academic discourse Prepare students for their first experience with state assessments by building test literacy, stamina, and confidence—without sacrificing joyful, meaningful learning Use multiple data sources (classroom assessments, benchmarks, state-aligned measures) to inform instruction and provide targeted support Foster student independence, organization, and accountability for learning Create a structured, engaging classroom environment that supports focus, productive struggle, and respectful peer interactions Collaborate with grade-level teammates, instructional coaches, special education staff, and instructional assistants Partner with families to support both academic progress and social development Who You Are You might be a great fit if you: Believe all students deserve access to grade-level rigor with appropriate scaffolds Have strong knowledge of literacy development beyond decoding, including comprehension and writing Value mathematical thinking and conceptual understanding Use data to inform instruction while keeping students at the center Are reflective, organized, and eager to refine your practice Embrace culturally responsive, inclusive teaching Have a valid Teaching License Why Join Us? $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
