What We are Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Has experience working with Prekindergarten-aged children Has experience supporting neurodivergent children and children with diverse learning, sensory, behavioral, or developmental needs Understands that every child learns and communicates differently and can adapt their approach to meet individual needs Can provide a calm, patient, structured, and nurturing classroom environment Uses positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior support strategies Is comfortable working collaboratively with families, classroom teachers, leadership, and outside support professionals when appropriate Is dependable, flexible, positive, and a strong team player Has strong communication and classroom-management skills Meets Colorado licensing requirements for the position or is willing to complete necessary qualifications What You Will Do As a Prekindergarten Teacher, you will help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment while implementing the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum. You will build meaningful relationships with children and families, support children's social-emotional and academic development, and help prepare our students for their next big adventure — Kindergarten! We are especially looking for someone who understands that behavior is communication and is comfortable helping children develop skills for emotional regulation, transitions, peer interactions, communication, and independence .
