Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic 4th Grade Math & Science Teacher to inspire young learners and foster their academic growth in a vibrant educational environment. Duties Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for math and science, incorporating differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning styles. Implement effective classroom management techniques to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments, analyzing performance data to tailor instruction accordingly. Foster student engagement by integrating educational technology tools and hands-on learning activities that make complex concepts accessible and exciting. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student development, progress reports, and upcoming assessments through clear and professional channels. Collaborate with fellow teachers, special education staff, and administrators to develop interdisciplinary projects and ensure educational compliance. Support early childhood development principles by applying knowledge of childhood growth stages and behavior management strategies. Participate in school events, professional development workshops, and mentoring programs to continually enhance teaching skills and curriculum implementation. Qualifications Proven experience teaching elementary school students with a focus on 4th grade math and science curricula. Strong understanding of childhood development, learning styles adaptability, and behavior management techniques. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate educational technology and differentiated instruction methods. Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or requiring special education accommodations. Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher interactions and team collaboration. Knowledge of standardized testing procedures, student performance data analysis, and curriculum compliance regulations. Background in literacy education, tutoring, early intervention strategies, and classroom experience is highly desirable. Ability to mentor students individually or in small groups to support academic achievement across subject areas such as math, science, literacy, and social-emotional learning.
