Immanuel Lutheran School (ILS) in Brandon is looking for a caring, organized, and faith-driven third grade teacher to join our team. We're a close-knit PreK-8 school of about 190 students and a ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church (LCMS). Our mission is to share the love, joy, and peace of Jesus Christ with students and their families while building Christian leaders through Biblical instruction and academic excellence. We live out that mission by growing Integrity, Leadership, and Service, the heart of ILS, in every child. Third grade is a big year. Students go from learning to read to reading to learn, and they build the math foundation they'll use for the rest of their schooling. We're looking for a teacher who loves that challenge and wants to walk alongside eight- and nine-year-olds through it, both academically and spiritually. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan and teach engaging, standards-aligned lessons across all core subjects, with faith and Biblical principles woven into daily instruction Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of your students Lead your class in daily prayer, devotions, and chapel, and model Christian values in everything you do Build a warm, structured classroom using Love and Logic, handling behavior with grace and accountability in the spirit of Matthew 18 Monitor student progress and give students and families timely, helpful feedback Partner with church and school administration, families, and staff as an active member of our ILS community

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

✓ Active Christian faith, a lifestyle consistent with our mission, and a genuine commitment to Christian education ✓ Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (required) ✓ Valid Florida teaching certification and/or Lutheran Teacher Certification (preferred) ✓ Experience with Love and Logic or similar positive discipline frameworks (preferred), or a willingness to be trained ✓ Elementary classroom experience (preferred; strong new teachers are encouraged to apply) ✓ Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills ✓ Patience, empathy, and a real joy in helping children grow
