What You'll Do As a K-6 Elementary Teacher, you will: Create a nurturing, engaging, and student-centered classroom environment where all learners can thrive. Develop and deliver creative, standards-aligned lessons that promote academic growth and critical thinking. Teach essential skills, concepts, and social competencies to elementary students through engaging and interactive instruction. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic, social, and emotional needs of students. Use a variety of instructional strategies, educational technology, and hands-on learning experiences to motivate and inspire learners. Build strong relationships with students and foster a classroom culture focused on respect, collaboration, and achievement. Monitor student progress, evaluate achievement, and provide meaningful feedback to support growth. Maintain organized lesson plans, student records, and instructional materials aligned with school expectations. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and support staff regarding student progress and development. Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support personnel to enhance student success and strengthen school-wide initiatives. Participate in professional learning opportunities and maintain applicable credentials related to content areas. Support school events, enrichment activities, and programs that strengthen school culture and student engagement. Uphold school policies, procedures, and safety expectations while ensuring the well-being of all students. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid Florida teaching certification/license or SOE.
- Experience working with elementary school students, preferably in a classroom setting.
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and learning theories.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Proficiency in math and literacy education.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and their integration into the classroom.
