Emerging Minds Montessori Academy is an authentic Montessori school serving children ages 2 through 8th grade in Palm Beach County, and we are committed to providing an enriching, child-centered educational environment that nurtures the development of the whole child.

Emerging Minds Montessori Academy, Delray Beach, FL Qualifications:
Montessori Certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) for Lower Elementary (grades 1-3) Experience working in the Montessori Lower Elementary classroom In-depth knowledge of Montessori philosophy, curriculum, and methodology Classroom management skills to foster a calm, positive, and inclusive learning environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff Passion for child development, fostering independence, creativity, and a love for learning
Additional Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S. Physically able to perform light labor (lifting, bending, reaching, and navigating stairs) Completion of 45 DCF training hours - All staff required to complete. More details will be provided. Ability to pass State and National background checks Must meet all training and eligibility requirements set by the state of
Florida Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain an organized, neat, and well-equipped Montessori environment that meets the developmental needs of students Guide children in their academic, social, and emotional growth Foster a love of learning and an atmosphere of mutual respect and collaboration Develop and implement individualized learning plans, tailored to the needs of each child Work alongside the floor and team lead guides to ensure cohesive and effective classroom management Work closely with parents, staff, and administration to support each child's development Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school's community Develop and maintain a structured care routine to ensure the safety and well-being of classroom pets We offer medical and dental insurance, tuition discounts, paid time off, paid holidays, and a supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
