Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies, creating a safe and respectful environment. Provide individualized support through tutoring, early intervention strategies, and working with students with special needs or autism to promote inclusive learning. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, assessment strategies, and standardized testing preparation to ensure student achievement. Mentor new or less experienced teachers by sharing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and instructional techniques. Engage with parents and guardians through clear communication about student progress, behavior, and upcoming activities. Support extracurricular activities such as physical education classes or library services to foster well-rounded development. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications preferred. Proven classroom experience working with children in elementary grades, including early childhood education settings. Demonstrated skills in curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and standardized testing preparation. Experience working with students with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or working with individuals with autism. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, students, and families. Proficiency in learning technology tools and educational software to support instruction and assessment. Ability to manage classroom behavior proactively while fostering an inclusive environment that promotes student engagement. Commitment to ongoing professional development in areas such as writing skills, behavior management techniques, library services integration, and education administration practices.
