Montessori School of Miami Shores is seeking a passionate Lower Elementary Lead Teacher to guide children ages 6-9 in a dynamic, student-centered environment. Position Summary Lead a mixed-age Lower Elementary classroom (ages 6-9). Present Montessori lessons in language, mathematics, geometry, and cultural studies. Foster independence, critical thinking, and a love of learning. Observe and assess student progress to guide individualized instruction. Support social development, collaboration, and conflict resolution. Communicate professionally with families and collaborate with assistants and staff. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Education or related field preferred). Montessori Lower Elementary certification (AMI, AMS, or MACTE) 2+ years of experience working with elementary-aged children. Strong classroom leadership, organization, and communication skills.
