St. James Catholic School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Prekindergarten 4 Teacher for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications:

BS / BA Degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education or related field. Florida Department of Education certificate is required, temporary or professional, or be eligible to become certified Must have Part 1 and 2 (40 hours) of Department of Children and Family Certified training and current CDA (or further education). Current FDLE and FBI screening passed. Experience caring for and engaging with children. Excellent classroom management. Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred. Excellent lesson planning and presentation abilities incorporating instructional technologies and 21st century learning skills. Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar required. Must have a professional demeanor.
