Job Description

Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person Florida state-certified elementary classroom teacher to homeschool a 6 year old girl and a 4 year old boy at their home in Palm City, FL 34990, Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm . This is a wonderful opportunity for the right elementary teacher: a "full-time position with part-time hours" that pays $75,000/year , including 12 weeks total annual paid vacation time (to be scheduled with the family). This opportunity is expected to begin on October 1st for the current fall 2026/27 school year. Looking for a certified elementary teacher who is able to teach all elementary subjects from K-5th grade (K-8th grade is a plus but not required) to two young children who are both very smart and enjoy learning. The parents are willing to collaborate with the right teacher about which curriculum is used, but it must be accredited and the assessments must align with state standards. The teacher will maintain accurate records of assessments and educational progress, provide periodic progress reports to the parents, and be responsible for all state homeschool requirements and filings. The right teacher will be engaging, professional, upbeat, experienced, and reactive to each student's pace. Looking for a teacher with a strong education background who is proficient in K-5 curriculum and committed to the development of the students. Teacher candidates should have at least a BA and Florida state certification, along with a minimum of two years professional elementary teaching experience in the classroom.
Requirements:
Minimum BA and Florida state certification, plus at least 2 years of professional elementary classroom teaching experience. Must be comfortable teaching all subjects at the K-5th grade level in a homeschool environment (K-8th grade level is a plus). Must have your own reliable transportation and cell phone, and must be able to travel to teach the students in person in Palm City, FL 34990 Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm. Must have good communication skills, and must be willing to interview in person in Palm City, FL 34990 and remotely via live video chat.
