Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team for the 2026-2027 School Year. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This role involves developing and implementing curriculum tailored to the needs of young learners, utilizing effective classroom management strategies, and promoting a love for learning through innovative teaching methods. Duties Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher, adapting as necessary to meet the needs of students. Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a conducive learning environment. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their participation and engagement in lessons. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to handle various situations that may arise during class time. Assist in the development and execution of lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their educational goals. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Experience A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, faithfully attending a local church. Florida Teaching Certification Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices. Familiarity with behavior management strategies and techniques. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively within the classroom setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with students and staff. A passion for Christian education and a commitment to fostering student growth and development. Strong writing skills for preparing reports, lesson plans, and communication with parents are required.
