Home Elementary Language Arts Teacher Location:
Parkland, Florida Schedule:

8-10 hours per week, two mornings per week , 4-5 hours per day

Compensation:

$50

  • 70/hr, commensurate with experience
Setting:

Private in‑home instruction in a dedicated, tech‑forward classroom environment

Curriculum Provided:

Logic of English (LOE), McGraw Hill Social Studies About the Role We are seeking a professional elementary Language Arts teacher to provide private, in‑home instruction for second‑grade students. All curriculum, pacing, and materials are fully provided. No outside lesson planning is required; teachers must arrive prepared to deliver the day's lessons.

This role includes:

Logic of English structured literacy Reading, writing, grammar, spelling Vocabulary and comprehension McGraw Hill Social Studies (informational text, reading‑based social science) Short written responses and discussion

Bonus:

Ability to teach Spanish, German, or Mandarin Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred Teaching credential preferred, but not required Prior elementary teaching or tutoring experience Strong professionalism, reliability, and communication skills Comfortable following a structured, pre‑designed curriculum Must be available mornings In‑person only (no virtual instruction) Dedicated, positive, and consistent classroom presence Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality instruction using provided curriculum Arrive prepared to present the day's lessons Maintain an engaging, supportive learning environment Integrate reading, writing, and social science content Communicate clearly regarding scheduling and expectations Indicate preferred contact method (email, text, or phone) To Apply Please submit your resume and include: Your preferred contact method (email, text, or phone) Your morning availability
