Elementary Classroom Supervisor/Teacher for the 2026-2027

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary Classroom Supervisor/Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a non-traditional teaching role where educators guide students through self-paced, individualized curriculum programs such as Ignitia as well as provide limited group lessons and activities in a small-group classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a positive, patient attitude in working with children
  • Provide academic support, clarification, and encouragement through one-on-one student assistance and group instruction
  • Plan and implement supplemental instruction, projects, and classroom activities to enrich the base curriculum
  • Deliver instructional programs to students who may have learning and physical disabilities and/or social behavior issues
  • Work to maintain a safe, effective, Christ-centered learning environment using appropriate classroom management strategies
  • Maintain student attendance and grades in school management system
  • Participate in in-service programs, required training and professional meetings as requested
  • Work collaboratively with Principal, Monitors, Parents, third-party providers and other staff
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required from accredited institution
  • No teaching certification required - certification obtained through our accrediting body
  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting is a plus
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with parents, students, therapists and administrators.
