An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Job Description

Providence Education Group is an accredited private school in Tequesta. We specialize in mastery-based learning, not factory-based. The teachers collaborate to teach each student at the appropriate academic level. Experience teaching Wilson Reading Programs is a huge plus. We are hiring a part-time teacher and full time teacher to teach groups of 3-6 students and 1:1 instruction. After school hours optional. Please apply if you have a passion for teaching students at a mastery-based pace.

Required:

3 years minimum of teaching experience Bachelor's Degree is required and a statement of Eligibility or current FL certification. Small Groups of students and 1:1 Full time or part-time: school hours 830-1230 Monday -Thursday Palm Beach County School District Calendar References will be checked and a Level 2 background check required Please provide a cover letter explaining why you are a "good git" for this position.
