Montessori Lower Elementary Lead Teacher (Ages 6-9) Academy of Montessori International Inspire curiosity. Foster independence. Shape the future. The Academy of Montessori International is seeking an exceptional Montessori Lower Elementary Lead Teacher (Ages 6-9) to join our growing school community. We are looking for a passionate educator who believes in the Montessori philosophy and is committed to creating a classroom where children develop academically, socially, and emotionally through hands-on learning and individualized instruction. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Montessori professional who values collaboration, excellence, and building meaningful relationships with students and families. Responsibilities Lead and manage a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom (ages 6-9). Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized, authentic Montessori environment. Present Montessori lessons using Montessori methodology and materials. Differentiate instruction to meet each child's developmental needs. Observe, assess, and document student progress. Foster independence, critical thinking, leadership, and a love of learning. Build strong partnerships with parents through ongoing communication and conferences. Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school-wide initiatives. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred. Montessori Lower Elementary (6-9) certification required. Prior Montessori classroom experience strongly preferred. Excellent classroom management and organizational skills. Strong understanding of child development and Montessori philosophy. Professional, dependable, collaborative, and passionate about education. Ability to pass a Level II background screening. Preferred Candidates We especially encourage applications from educators who: Have experience leading a Lower Elementary Montessori classroom.
