Navigator Academy of Leadership Davenport is seeking a passionate, student-centered 4th Grade Math & Science Teacher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering academic excellence, building strong relationships with students and families, and creating an engaging learning environment where all students can thrive.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in 4th Grade Mathematics and Science. Use student data to differentiate instruction and monitor academic progress. Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement. Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction. Collaborate with grade-level teammates, instructional coaches, and school leadership to improve student outcomes. Maintain accurate student records, communicate regularly with families, and participate in school events and professional learning opportunities. Support the school's mission, vision, and Leader in Me culture while modeling professionalism and high expectations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Valid Florida Educator Certificate (or eligibility to obtain one) in Elementary Education (K-6). Strong knowledge of Florida's B.E.S.T. Standards and effective instructional practices. Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills. Commitment to continuous professional growth and student success.
