Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating innovative teaching methods and learning technology tools. Deliver engaging lessons across core subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies to meet diverse student needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment. Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing, formative assessments, and informal observations; adjust instruction accordingly to support individual learning goals. Provide mentorship and support to students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention strategies, including working with children with autism or other developmental challenges. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and coordinate efforts for student success. Incorporate literacy education, math skills development, library services integration, and early childhood education principles into daily activities. Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, or other specialized teaching methodologies, and education administration best practices. Requirements Proven classroom experience in elementary education within private or public school settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles and learning technology tools. Experience in teaching, tutoring students individually or in groups, and supporting literacy and math proficiency. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment tools used to measure student achievement. Ability to adapt instructional methods for diverse learners including those with special needs or requiring additional support services. Certification or licensure in elementary education preferred; additional qualifications such as experience working with children with autism are a plus.
