Job Description

Long-Term Kindergarten Substitute Teacher Assignment The Louisa-Muscatine Community School District is searching for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher for our Elementary School (Kindergarten) for an assignment beginning approximately Mid-October and ending mid to late January, 2027. Time off will be given for Thanksgiving (November 25
  • 27) and Christmas/New Year's (December 23rd through January 1st).
This position requires an Iowa initial, standard, master or substitute teaching license. Candidates must have a valid Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter (2hr) certificate, a FREE 30 minute Seizure First Aid training and Free Appropriate Public Education (F.A.P.E.) training. We are able to assist in obtaining the required training. $180 Per Day or $200 Per Day for Retired Teachers.
