An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Primary Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, rigorous, and creative lessons aligned with curriculum standards and Catholic educational philosophy. Integrate Catholic teachings and values naturally across subject areas and classroom culture. Create a joyful, structured classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and accountability. Establish strong rapport with students, parents, and colleagues through clear, professional communication Maintain consistent and fair classroom management grounded in dignity and compassion. Address academic, behavioral, or relational challenges with confidence, professionalism, and collaboration. Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs. Collaborate actively with faculty, administration, and parents to support student success. Participate fully in the spiritual life of the school, including prayer, liturgies, and community events. Reflect on teaching practices and remain open to feedback, coaching, and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications:
