An Elementary School Teacher teaches elementary school students, usually children ages 5 - 11 who are in kindergarten through fifth or sixth grade, in a public or private school. Teaches all subjects, including reading, writing, math, social studies and science, to one class throughout the school year. Plans curriculum and assesses student progress, manages student behavior and communicates with school parents. May specialize in teaching music, art or physical education, or teach students that are learning English, or work with students with learning disabilities or emotional and behavioral disorders.

Specifically, we're looking for candidates interested in teaching Mathematics from the Upper Elementary grades up to Middle School (Grades 4-8). Please apply if you are interested in any of those grade bands. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Math Education. If not, showing past experience teaching math should work as well. Those with Masters or Doctoral degrees are also strongly encouraged to apply. Additionally, candidates with experience teaching AP courses, including AP Statistics and AP Calculus, are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Math Education (Masters or Doctoral Degrees are strongly encouraged to apply). Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development Qualified Teacher credential or relevant teaching certification Strong communication and classroom management skills Adaptability, patience, and a student-centered teaching approach Experience teaching or working with middle and high school students is a plus Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
