Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher to join our team at Providence Elementary School. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with state curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support to enhance learning outcomes. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and promote student success. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional materials to accommodate different learning styles. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and trends. Collaborate with other educators and staff to support school-wide initiatives and programs. Manage classroom behavior and maintain discipline in accordance with school policies. Organize and participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and parent-teacher conferences as required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education Valid state teaching certification or license for elementary education. Strong knowledge of child development and instructional strategies for elementary-aged students. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt to the needs of diverse learners. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning. A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
