Job Description

Responsibilities Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, and social skills. Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management techniques. Incorporate learning technology and educational resources to enhance student engagement and understanding. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development strategies and participate in ongoing professional development. Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services, ensuring inclusive learning experiences. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Mentor and guide students individually or in small groups, providing tutoring and additional support as needed. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and developmental milestones for administrative purposes. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress and developmental goals. Uphold safety standards and ensure a secure classroom environment that promotes learning and well-being. Skills Proven classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in kindergarten teaching. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and integrating learning technology tools. Experience with behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Ability to adapt teaching methods for children with special needs or autism spectrum disorder. Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, library services, and standardized testing procedures. Skills in mentoring, tutoring, and working with children requiring early intervention or private school experience. Writing skills for documentation, reports, and parent communication.
