K-3 Teacher Little Learning Academy of Broussard Broussard, LA Job Details Part-time | Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Customer service First aid First Aid Certification Classroom experience Full Job Description Little Learning Academy of Broussard has an opening for a Preschool (ages 2-3) Teacher. We are looking for someone with morning availability (7am-5pm). The teacher will engage in teaching responsibilities that include supervising and ensuring the safety of children, creating and implementing developmentally/age appropriate lesson plans, as well as all aspects of classroom management.

A passion for young children Commitment to being fully present in the classroom and reliable Ability to work in a fast-paced environment along with extreme patience A positive attitude--exhibiting professionalism, integrity, loyalty, dedication and providing a nurturing environment for all children Strict adherence to all policies and procedures mandated by child care licensing along with the center's policies and procedures Ability to communicate directly with parents regarding their child's accomplishments and daily activities Excellent organizational and cleanliness in order to promote a clean and safe environment Ability to create and follow a daily schedule and curriculum in the classroom Required Qualifications Clean Criminal Background Check Pleasant/Friendly demeanor and outgoing personality Highly professional and dependable Excellent communication, customer service, problem solving skills and ability to maintain composure under stress Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and manage time in a fast-paced environment Must be able to lift up to 40lbs in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency systems CPR & First Aid certifications along with ongoing training of 12 hours yearly or willingness to obtain required Must be able to work various shifts within the center's operating hours 6:45am-5:30pm
