Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to lead our third-year (5-6 years old) classroom for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a unique opportunity to guide children through their final year of the Montessori Children's House experience, supporting academic growth, leadership, and school readiness. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain a thoughtfully designed Montessori environment Guide children through individualized and small-group lessons across subject areas Support social-emotional development and independence Observe, assess, and document student progress Foster a respectful, calm, and engaging classroom community Communicate regularly with families regarding student development Collaborate with faculty and administration Qualifications Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) preferred Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field 1-3 years of teaching experience Experience working with children ages 5-6 Strong classroom management and communication skills A collaborative, positive, and professional demeanor Schedule & Benefits School hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Supportive and collaborative work environment Professional development opportunities

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
