About the Role As a Technical Product Manager specializing in life-safety systems, you will drive the strategic vision and lifecycle management for advanced fire detection and suppression technologies. You will bridge the gap between complex engineering requirements and market-driven commercial success, ensuring our solutions protect critical infrastructure globally. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial concept and New Product Development (NPD) to sunsetting legacy systems. Translate Voice of Customer (VoC) insights into actionable product requirements that solve real-world safety challenges. Develop robust business cases, pricing strategies, and go-to-market plans to maximize product profitability and market share. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and operations to ensure seamless product delivery. Create high-impact sales enablement tools, technical documentation, and value propositions to support commercial growth. Monitor industry trends, global regulatory standards (NFPA, UL, FM), and competitor movements to maintain a competitive edge. Manage product performance metrics and volume forecasting to align supply chain and financial planning with market demand. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Proven experience in product management within the fire protection or industrial safety sectors. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage pricing models and P&L health. Deep understanding of fire detection and suppression system codes and standards. Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. Ability to travel up to 25% for customer visits and industry trade shows. Preferred Skills MBA or advanced business certification. Formal product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM). Experience with B2B commercial building systems and critical infrastructure markets. Multilingual proficiency to support global market expansion.
